09 Jul Sunday 12th July Archbishop Stephen Cottrell is leading Morning Worship
As you would have heard this Thursday Bishop Stephen Cottrell’s confirmation of Election Service is on Thursday 9 July 2020 when he will officially take up the role as Archbishop. The service will be broadcast entirely via video conference due to the Coronavirus restrictions. The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Revd Justin Welby, has granted special permission for the virtual service to take place. The service, which had been due to take place in York Minster, will be in two parts: a legal ceremony with readings, prayers and music; and a film marking the first day of the 98th Archbishop of York’s ministry. To watch please use the link below.
To view the service on the Church of England website:
The link will be live just before 11.00am on Thursday 9th July 2020.
Also on this Sunday 12th at 0900 Archbishop Stephen is leading Morning Worship via the Church of England’s online worship page. see link below.
I think it would be good for us to take part/watch both of these services. So you can watch it online by using the links above.
Rather than me constructing a zoom service for us this Sunday I intend to host a zoom meeting where we can still meet together but watch the Archbishops Sunday 0900 Service together. Your choice. Watch it via the CoE web site or with me on zoom.
