01 Oct Middleton Harvest Donations – Sunday 11 October 2020
This year we will be sending our Harvest Contributions to our local Ryedale Foodbank, they have said they are short of Cleaning and Laundry items. Sweets, chocolate. Tinned meats and pies. Please no fresh produce only non perishable.
Thankyou all for your kindness every donation will make a difference.
Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public. Your generous food donations are absolutely vital in terms of facilitating our ability to provide clients with a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
Ryedale foodbank serves the authority area of the same name. There are three distribution centres. One in Malton, one in Norton and another in Pickering.
We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis.
