Butterwick Church of the Holy Epiphany is part of Salton Parish, and is situated only 3 miles from Salton. As you drive to the village over the River Rye the church stands on rising ground. It is a small Victorian Church and an important meeting place for the villagers. Walkers and cyclists are welcome to enter and have access to tea and coffee.
Both churches are open 24 hours a day, and are peaceful retreats. The services at Butterwick are on the Second Sunday at 6pm, when there is a chance to talk together about all manner of subjects that lead to Christianity, and there is Holy Communion at 6pm on the Third Sunday. Everyone is Most Welcome
Church services suspended till end of February.
